GETTING TO QUEENS, NY

Rail

Arrive by train & subway from NJ, CT, Upstate NY

You can take NJ transit (PATH) into Penn Station (34th St), or the Metro North Railroad to Grand Central (E 42nd St). From there, take the LIRR or 7 train to Mets-Willets Point Station.

Arrive by Long Island Rail Road

The Long Island Rail Road provides easy service to Mets-Willets Point (MWP) Station on LIRR's Port Washington Branch. See here for the train time to save time and money. We also recommend taking the rideshare to our pick-up/drop-off point. You can also ride your bike or a scooter if you are close!

Bus

You can take most major bus lines into Port Authority, and some smaller bus lines to other parts of the city. Just make sure your final destination is in Queens and you’ll be good.

Plane

There are three airports that service the NYC area: LGA, JFK, and EWR. EWR is located in New Jersey and is a bit further away so keep that in mind when booking.

Driving / Parking

There is no parking available at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. 

***NEW FOR 2026: Prepaid parking is now available at Citi Field. Purchase parking to secure your spot and enjoy a short walk to the festival grounds.***

Walking / Biking / Scooters

Bike parking available at main entrance (bring your own lock).

Rideshare

Less time planning, more time at the main stage!

Open the Lyft app to set your drop-off at the NY Hall of Science, or find the bike icon to unlock a Citi Bike ebike. We’re running a Citi Bike valet at 111 St & 49 Ave station from 12–11 PM on June 5–7. Just roll up and hand your bike to a team member–we’ll handle the docking for you

• Ingress: Head towards the Hall of Science Bridge into Flushing Meadows Corona Park towards the Unisphere.
• Egress: Exit left out the gate and head north towards the Hall of Science Bridge.

Rail

Arrive by train & subway from within NYC

Take LIRR or 7 train to Mets-Willets Point Station. The LIRR departs twice an hour from Penn and Grand Central Stations. You can catch the 7 from Hudson Yards, Times Square, Grand Central or any other station on the 7 line.

FESTIVAL ENTRANCE & ADDRESS

Gov Ball takes place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The main entrance of the festival is located between the Unisphere and Astronaut Court. The festival gates open each day at 11:30AM and close each day at 10:00PM. For more information, visit this entrance page.

Depart by Train & Subway
